While out and about, you're going to need more than just your detector. To start with, you're going to need a pouch of some sort to carry your odds and ends... You'll not only need a shovel (and a pick axe in some instances) but a smaller hand digger and coin pick are common items to have with you. Plus, for those tough to read makers/mint marks a jewelers loupe and rag are always nice to have...
